Acer has announced its Liquid S2 upstream of the IFA. According to various rumors, the next phablette manufacturer will ship a screen 6 "Full HD and a Snapdragon processor 800 unbridled to record 4K video.
When Acer announced preparing to launch its range of phablettes the last Mobile World Congress, we rather expected to see him play in the yard or other Wiko CINK KING Alcatel One Touch HD Scribe. This was the case with the Liquid S1 announced last June, but that is indeed in the big leagues with its Liquid S2. The phablette shows not only the height of the rumors about him, but especially at the height of the best phablettes expected at the end of the year.
Besides an IPS Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 6 "protected by the Gorilla Glass 3, the Acer Liquid S2 will be among the first to benefit from the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. Immediately after the G2 LG and Sony Xperia Z Ultra . It will nevertheless be the first to fully exploit the potential of this processor based on 4 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz with a resolution up to ultra HD ( 3840 x 2160 pixels ) video recording, or Full HD 1080p at 60 frames / sec.
To do this, it will have a 13 megapixel sensor on the back, surrounded by a 4-LED flash. Photo function should not be left out either with a multitude of methods ranging from Quick Shot for quick draw, the Panorama through the Smart Best Shot (continuous shooting in order to choose the best shot) or other hands-free jack ( possibility of trimming necessary after taking part). A 2 megapixel webcam also occupy the front.
The Acer Liquid S2 also include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory (expandable up to 128 GB via microSD), all in vogue connectivity (4G/3G, NFC, WiFi and Bluetooth) and a battery of 3300 mAh. No Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie as envisaged rumors but obviously Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean anyway, along with the overlay Acer Float manufacturer. All in a case with rather large dimensions of 166 x 86 x 8.99 mm.
Acer will obviously present at the IFA which will open its doors at the end of the week to present its next phablette. Released at the end of October at a suggested $ 549 price € in France.
