Lenovo Idea Pad S5000: a quad-core tablet cheap, Android Jelly Bean

Lenovo announces Idea Tab S5000, a tablet that should please undemanding users looking for a tablet to nice design and reasonable price.

While the doors of the IFA in Berlin will not open until tomorrow, Lenovo has already announced that it will exhibit the new with some Idea Tab S5000. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, this tablet is rather on the mid-range with acceptable technical specifications including:

• Quad-core processor 1.5 GHz MediaTek 8389
• 5-megapixel camera on the back, 1.6 megapixel front
• 3G +, optional
• 3450 mAh battery, announced autonomy: 6 hours of video playback, 8h continuous WiFi
• Thickness: 7.9 mm
• Weight: 246 grams

The Idea Pad tablet S5000 will be available in the month of November 2013, from 199 € to 249 € WiFi and 3G.
